I just found out the new Presiding Judge in Oakland will be Judge Mark Fudem formerly of  the Santa Rosa Board.[1]

I obtained two walk through settlements yesterday morning.  I’m feeling pretty good.

Oh, did I forget to mention one was in Santa Rosa and the other in Oakland?[1]

"Hi, is this the room for the bench and bar meetings? I brought my brown bag lunch!"

I was recently invited to participate on the Oakland Bench & Bar Committee.  The first meeting of the rejuvenated committee is going to take place tomorrow. [1][2]

The committee includes a wide variety of stakeholders from the community – applicant, defense, lien claimants, and judges.  The purpose of this committee is to foster discussion of issues of concern to the WCAB Oakland district office and the community.

Ideas?
